A success story of an IVF procedure in the presence of a congenital uterine defect

(1) A Success Story

The patient began to suffer from infertility, and she had to go to specialized gynecologists and obstetricians to find out the reasons for the delayed pregnancy. This was especially concerning as a year had passed, and the situation had become more serious after another year.

Until one day, she learned about Dr. Ahmed Moheb's Karamah Clinic. By that time, 3 years had passed. She went to the Karamah Clinic and met with Dr. Ahmed Moheb. But after visiting many doctors, Dr. Ahmed asked her about the latest diagnosis of her condition. She told him that she had ovarian cysts, and one of the treatment methods was stimulants, which she had taken a lot of, but pregnancy did not occur.

Dr. Ahmed Moheb began to examine the patient with all the necessary x-rays and tests. She told him that she had done a routine abdominal ultrasound and some ovulation-specific tests.

Dr. Ahmed asked her, "Have you done a dye test on the uterus?" She replied, "No, doctor."

The doctor asked her to do a dye test on the uterus and fallopian tubes. The surprise was that there was a congenital defect in the uterus, and the fallopian tubes were not present. The doctor tried to explain the patient's condition and the treatment plan, and he began the treatment by performing a hysteroscopy to remove the uterine septum. After that, the uterus was prepared to prevent uterine adhesions, which is a known condition in uterine adhesions.

After making sure that the uterus was ready for pregnancy, Dr. Ahmed Moheb, the best consultant in Egypt for intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), began preparing for the ICSI procedure. If you want to know the steps of the ICSI procedure, you can find them here.

After that, the embryos were transferred to the uterus, and a pregnancy occurred on the first try, and the fetus was a girl.
