Prenatal and Postnatal Care
We provide regular monitoring throughout the pregnancy period, starting from the beginning, where we can diagnose any early health problems that may arise during this period, until the end of the pregnancy to ensure the birth of a healthy baby.
Recommended tests according to the week of pregnancy:
Weeks 4-8:
- Pregnancy test and confirmation of pregnancy.
- Blood test and blood type examination.
- Urea and creatinine test.
- Hemoglobin and iron level test.
- Blood sugar test.
- Infertility and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) screening.
Weeks 9-12:
- Ultrasound examination (Sonar) to determine the gestational age.
- Tuberculosis and syphilis test.
- Electrocardiogram (ECG) examination of fetal heart.
- Measles and German measles (Rubella) antibody test.
Weeks 13-16:
- Ultrasound examination to detect fetal abnormalities.
- Blood test to screen for Down syndrome and Edwards syndrome.
Weeks 17-20:
- Ultrasound examination to assess fetal growth and development.
- Blood pressure measurement and urine analysis.
Weeks 21-24:
- Ultrasound examination to assess fetal growth and development.
- Blood pressure measurement and urine analysis.
Weeks 25-28:
- Blood sugar test to monitor gestational diabetes.
- Iron and hemoglobin level test.
Weeks 29-32:
- Ultrasound examination to assess fetal position and amniotic fluid level.
- Blood test and blood type examination if necessary.
Weeks 33-36:
- Ultrasound examination to assess fetal position and amniotic fluid level.
- Blood test and blood type examination if necessary.
Weeks 37-40:
- Regular monitoring to evaluate the body's readiness for delivery.
- Ultrasound examination to assess fetal position and amniotic fluid level.
